18-hole Par 72 Parkland course designed by Gary Player. An extra 9 holes have just been added and finished in 2007.
Situated in the Almerimar Resort just 20 meters away from AR Hotel Almerimar, the Golf Course Almerimar has 27-holes. Gary Player and Rob Kirby designed a golf course opened in 1976, combining water hazards and palm trees with wide fairways. In 2005 the golf course welcomed an extension of 9 holes, becoming a 27-hole course. During 2006 and 2007 the original 18-holes were renewed and improved in order to match the needs of today’s golfer. Nowadays Almerimar’s golf course covers an area of 9.210 metres combining the original par 72 course with the new 9 holes at par 36 enabling the guests to play 3 different courses within the same resort.
