The Essex Golf and Country Club boasts 27 holes of golf, a 20-bay driving range and a great learners academy centre with a hi-tech video studio and indoor practice bunker, making it a fantastic all round golfing venue, perfect for a weekend break away from home.
County Course (The Essex Golf & Country Club)
The County Golf Course is The Essex Country Club’s 18-hole track and features ten lakes and an array of strategically placed bunkers. At 6,907-yards, this lengthy par-73 will challenge golfers of all abilities, but with good scoring abilities on some of the par-5 holes, there’s a great opportunity to shoot a good round on this beautiful parkland course.

Garden Course (The Essex Golf & Country Club)
The Essex Golf and Country Club is home to the delightful 9-hole Garden Course with tricky water hazards and well protected greens, the Garden Course is great for new learners of the game, but still poses some real problems for more advanced if you don’t control your aim.

The 42 rooms at The Essex's lodge style hotel have larger than normal beds, superb course views and TVs with satellite channels. Meals are served in the Sports Brasserie, which offers excellent clubhouse-style fare.
