Forest of Arden is home to two top golf courses, with the choice of either the renowned Championship Arden golf course which has been host to the British Masters in the past, or the shorter but equally enjoyable Aylesford golf course.
The golf courses at Forest of Arden make for a great golfing weekend. With two contrasting golf courses in the Championship Arden course and the tricky Aylesford golf course, which can combine to provide a great golf break over a long weekend, or even for a short one night stay.
Arden (Marriott Forest of Arden)
The Arden course is the Forest of Arden’s flagship course having held both the British Masters and the English Open among other European Tour Events. Golfing greats including Colin Montgomerie and Ian Woosnam have all laid claim to a tournament victory on this great course.
The Par-72 course measures 6,451-yards off the yellow tees, making it a test of length as well as accuracy. Mature trees lining the fairways and a mixture of water hazards and bunkers threatening to put a black mark on your scorecard at any time make the Arden course at the Forest of Arden a truly rewarding experience for golfers that manage to conquer it.

Aylesford (Marriott Forest of Arden)
Measuring in at only 5,579-yards, the Aylesford course at the Forest of Arden may not have the reputation of its sister course, but it still makes for a tricky round of golf that will challenge even the more advanced players.
The par-69 golf course uses its intricate design including challenging water hazards and tough-to-read greens that will make accuracy an important trait to scoring low around this enjoyable golf course.
