The Manor House Golf Course (Manor House Hotel and Golf Club at Castle Combe)
It is difficult to put into words just how outstanding the natural beauty is that encompasses this championship golf course. Both complement each other perfectly to offer every golfer a memorable, testing but fair, round of golf. Peter Allis designed this 6,286 yard, par 72 golf course with Clive Clark and both believe that it is “hard to imagine a finer setting for an English golf course.” It adjoins the magnificent grounds of the luxurious Manor House Hotel and is set in 365 acres of wooded valley and downland.
The Manor House golf course is always immaculately presented and provides fantastic golf at any time of the year. Several holes feature the River Bybrook and its streams, including the spectacular short 17th. The lakes and signature waterfall of the 18th make for a truly spectacular and often dramatic finish.
