Owston Hall Golf Club (Owston Hall Hotel)
First established in 1922 as a 9 hole golf course Owston Hall has matured wonderfully. It has regularly hosted events on the EuroPro Tour, which demonstrates the excellent standard of the layout. The golf course is set in over 200 acres of mature parkland, with large oaks and water hazards making the course both enjoyable to play whilst at the same time challenging. The feature hole is the 10th a par 4, 284-yard hole which requires a carry over two carefully placed ponds before playing up to the green which is overlooked from the conservatory of the 18th century Owston Hall.

Accommodation
Privately owned family run hotel, with a total of 63 bedrooms. The oldest 13 rooms date back to the 17th century, with the newest 18 being added in 2007.
All the fifteen bedrooms in the Old Hall, dating from the 17th Century, have been individually decorated, providing comfortable and relaxing rooms. Across from the main hotel a further 30 bedrooms are situated in the 18th century stable block within the grounds of Owston estate. All rooms have en-suite, with colour TV, phone and modem to provide the perfect escape from work, or for a quiet getaway. The conservatory, added in 1840, provides a bright and airy place for dinner, where highly recommended chefs will provide you with imaginative modern English cuisine. Opened in late 2007, Owston added leisure facilities which have been the perfect finishing touch to add to the ambience of this family run, family home from home.
Did you know?
The original course prior to World War 2 was the Robin Hood Golf Course, which returned to farmland after the war. The new golf course opened 50 years later.
